ELEMENT
Late 2015 I toured Europe with Hugo Race & the Tues Spirit (band I play with).
We played 29 concerts in 5 weeks doing over 9,000 km. travelling as far East as Bucarest, as far West as Rennes, the southern point was Rome and the northern Berlin.
Driving for hours through some spectacular early winter European landscapes, viewing the different countries through the window of a driving vehicle was highly inspirational.
As result, back in Melbourne I embarked on painting a series of landscapes; Element.
Each of those paintings are not exactly from one particular scene rather a sum of multiple landscapes that share similar mood, power and strength.
